Kaimalino homes

Home construction in the Kaimalino neighborhood began in the 1950's and further developed in the 1960's and 70's.  The area is built out. Occasionally an older home is demolished and replaced with a new home.

Kaimalino home interiors range from 1,600 square feet and some homes exceed 4,000 square feet.  The average Kaimalino home interior area is approximately 2,400 square feet.  Lot sizes range from 10,000 to 13,000 square feet.

The Kaimalino neighborhood is popular for executives and also for military officers.  Kaneohe Marine Corps Base is a few miles down the road.  Kaimalino is a quiet community even though the military base is next door, thanks to a buffer zone created by Kaluapuhi Pond.

Sorry! No results were found for your search. Your search may be too restrictive - try loosening up your parameters (i.e., don't require items like Waterfront or View). Some property types do not contain all fields (i.e., multi-family homes do not list number of bedrooms).

You can go back and modify your search.

Oneawa Channel runs from Kawainui Marsh through the Koolaupoku and Kalaheo Hillside neighborhoods and meets the ocean at Kaimalino.  Visit Kaimalino and you'll see kayakers paddling from from the open waters and traveling up Kaelepulu Stream.  It's a fun place to kayak with calm seas and blue skies.

Kaimalino and driving directions

From Honolulu, the most direct route to Kaimalino is via the H-3 freeway.  Drive 12 miles and take the Kailua exit to Mokapu Road.  A mile and a half down the road, the name will change to Mokapu Boulevard.  Continue on this road.  At the intersection of Mokapu Boulevard and North Kalaheo Road, continue straight ahead, noting Pinky's Restaurant on the right and Aikahi Shopping Center on the left.  Just after the intersection, turn right onto Old Mokapu Road.  Make another right onto Kaimalino Street and you have reached the Kaimalino neighborhood.
